Meaningful Opportunities offered at Maggie's & MORE
FUN FRIDAYS
Fun Fridays are for differently-abled individuals and their families/caretakers. Every Friday night over the summer and the last Friday of the month during the school year, we reopen Maggie's & MORE from 6-8pm for a themed activity night that celebrates our community and the talents of our Donut Team members and friends.
Fun Friday themes have included:

Cream Sticks & Karaoke
Twists and Trivia
Glazed & Games
Paninis & Paint
Sprinkles & Survivor
Jelly donuts & Jokes
AKTION CLUB
Maggie's & MORE has become the springboard for Portage County's Aktion Club. Aktion Club is a community service club for differently-abled individuals. Our Aktion Club meets the 1st Sunday of every month. Our members plan, lead, and participate in community service projects.
Aktion Club projects have included:
Birthday in a Bag - Bags were packed with everything needed to celebrate a birthday. The bags were then donated to a local food cupboard.
Community Egg Hunt - Aktion Club members filled and hid Easter eggs for our village kids to find.
12 Days of Christmas - Boxes were decorate and filled with a food item during each of the 12 days leading up to Christmas. The boxes were donated to our local food cupboard.
